The Priorat wineries worth a visit

Almost every winery that takes visitors does so by advance booking. Before you choose, check which languages they offer, what the visit includes (a tasting, a tour of the cellar or of the vineyards) and whether there is a restaurant or accommodation, so you can stretch the day without moving on.

The list below is ordered by the details each winery publishes; it is not a judgement of its wines. To keep the driving short, underneath you will find three example days, one per area: Gratallops; Porrera and Scala Dei; and Falset with the Montsant side.

During harvest (September and October) some wineries change their visits or close; Celler de Capcanes, for example, states it is closed during harvest. Ask when you book.
